Market Activity internally uses 25% broad 24h move, 15% broad 7d move, 15% turnover, 20% breadth and 25% BTC/ETH/SOL 1h absolute momentum. In the four-tile display, Public Attention + Crypto-Native Attention are combined into the single Attention tile. News Heat measures how unusually intense crypto news activity is compared with recent conditions, using deduplicated publisher activity and each feed’s own rolling baseline. A separate weighted BTC/ETH/SOL 1-hour move detector helps the verdict explain when price action is leading hype. Surge context can persist for up to 6 hours unless the move reverses. It does not alter the Hype Score. Free Public Attention uses Google Search (60%) + YouTube Attention (40%). Social Buzz remains unconnected and is not fabricated. Retail Demand: transitional Stage-1 mix: 20% app-store arrival, 25% purchase-intent search, 25% stablecoin supply, 20% multi-chain on-chain participation and 10% derivatives positioning. The goal is to measure ordinary people starting to act/arrive; derivatives are now a reduced legacy input while stronger purchase-intent signals are added. Missing data is omitted and remaining weights are renormalized.
